Signs It’s Time to Replace Your Hair Extensions -- Part 1

Treating your hair extensions in Westchester County, NY, carefully and tenderly extends their life span, but eventually, you have to get new ones. No matter how well made, extensions do not last forever. So how long is too long? In this first of two articles, we’ll tell you about the signs that signal the need for new extensions in your hair.

Watch for extensions breaking off and splitting. This lets you know that you need to break up with them -- soon.

Look out for frizz. At this stage, extensions no longer make your hair look like more. At this stage, it makes your hair look like it needs a deep moisturizing treatment.

Your hair is filled with so much product that it doesn’t move anymore. This includes everything from hairspray to gel to mouse. When this build up, it’s not an attractive look for anyone. Plus, it goes counter to getting Westchester County, NY, hair extensions in the first place. That reason being, you want your hair to be longer, fuller, and more beautifully natural.

Unfortunately, hair extensions just do not last as long as your natural hair, which means at some point after months of hairstyles, they’ll need to be replaced.
